Do I have to sign a contract? We do not make riders to sign a contract and commit to a number of lessons. To see success in your abilities, we recommend that you ride weekly. However, we do need you to sign a waiver of liability for our program.

What happens during my first lesson?Your first lesson with us is an evaluation and costs $100. Regardless if you are a beginner or advanced rider, everyone has to complete an evaluation first. In this lesson, we will work on grooming, tacking up the horse, riding as well as putting the horse away after your ride. After this evaluation, we will discuss your goals, schedule and budget to create the perfect plan for you.

How do I schedule a lesson with Over the Moon Equestrian? The easiest way to schedule a lesson with us is to send us an email, or fill out the contact form on our website. Click on the button below and we will get in touch with you soon.

What should I wear for my lesson? If you want to ride regularly, you need proper riding attire, which consists of a riding helmet (ASTM/SEI certified), tall riding boots or paddock boots & half chaps, as well as breeches. If you have long hair, we request that you tie your hair up. If you are just starting out, we can loan you a helmet and boots (depending on availability) for your first lessons with us. Please mention to us that you need to loan equipment when you book your lessons so that we can make sure to have it ready for you.
Waivers
At your first lesson with Over the Moon Equestrian, you need to bring the following:

-
Completed liability waiver(s) for each rider
-
Completed release form(s) for the ranch facility for each rider and visitor (this includes parents, siblings, friends, and other guests visiting the property, even if they are not riding in the lesson).
